Being a celebrant means a lot to me. Completing Certificate IV in Celebrancy, waiting to see if my registration would be accepted and completing ongoing professional development every year, provided the opportunity for me to take bookings and meet couples wishing to get married.
My first ceremony was a Renewal of Vows at Nurragingy Reserve, Doonside and my first wedding was on a New Years Eve with a casual ceremony in a backyard. Since then, I have performed casual and formal wedding ceremonies as well as naming ceremonies.
I thoroughly enjoy my work as a celebrant, especially meeting people and seeing the results from beginning to end.
I have lived in the St Clair area for the past 35 years. I have been married for 36 years, have 4 adult children and 5 young grandchildren who are all loved and spoilt.
My working career spans over Federal and State government areas in office/admin management and serving the community. I have completed Certificate IV in Celebrancy as well as Life Celebrations and take pride in my ethics and values.
As an Authorised Marriage Celebrant, I am required by law to undertake a minimum of 5 hours professional development each year to maintain my knowledge and registration.
I am also required to abide by the Code of Practice for Marriage Celebrants.
I look forward to providing beautiful personalised ceremonies for any of my services.
I am non judgmental and respect client needs as well as privacy.
I am always professional with my communication and create a personal relationship with clients from beginning to end.
I take pride in my work and help couples create personal ceremonies for their special day.
